Blueberries Oranges 1

Blueberries Oranges 2

Adding frozen blueberries to a dish of sliced Honeybells, I didn’t expect the immediate effect of pink-stained orange juice. It tasted very much as it looks – tart, sweet, refreshing.

I need to look up honeybells now, is that a special type of orange or a certain region near your home?

Tania, yes, aren’t the drawings great?! Honeybells are oranges, well actually a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit. They’re juicy and have a really nice tartness. Generally only available in January.
