sunny day: green, gold and red food

Some days just call for a taco – when a hankering for the taste of a fresh corn tortilla packed full of something savory and topped with a piquant salsa and lots of fresh lime juice squeezed over it all is the only thing that’ll do. With my head bent over a desk all morning working on a deadline, I longed to stick my head outside into the cold, clear sunshine and to breathe in some fresh air.

While I was waiting for my order, I spied this unexpected little bonus – a 2013 wall calendar (below) the taco place was giving away with every order, and which can really only be described with one word: awesome. It’s now hanging on my kitchen wall.
